"start Menu" bottom r. hand corner of screan is being blocked by a tool bar & I get a "Bad Image" error Help!!

Q. When i start up my computer i get an error message that reads C:/windows/system32/kbdus .d l l

for some strange reason it shows me a bad image error. When i right click the bottom tool bar on my desk top the choices i get are the same choices i would get if i opened up an internet explorer page. I can not view my "Start Menu" icon to get to my programs, files, games etc.

I believe its hiding under the menu thats blocking the main menu but i cant seem to get rid of it.

A. Ah, that sounds like you have some bad software. I believe people call it windows. I wouldn't do that. Your next computer should be a mac. But until then, try ubuntu or fedoria linux. They will keep all viruses and maulware away.

Ubuntu Help!!?
Q. I really really really want to use ubuntu, but it wont let me get to the internet (im using xp now) because my Wireless USB adapter is made for XP or OS, Linux isnt supported what do i do? i need internet... should i just stick with XP??
Sorry, i have a D-Link DWL-122

i already went to their driver download site and it does indeed say it is not compatible with linux..

A. Make a dual boot and then you have XP and Ubuntu. You can learn Ubuntu and have Internet Access with your XP. If you have Ubuntu going maybe with a direct connect top left click; Applications > Add/Remove. It open a Window that load avaliable Software you can download. Top Right is a choice; Ubuntu Applications, and others. I can not say where it is, but, there is a Program Download for helping configure Network Cards, it may help. Just browse "All Avaliable Applications", I remember it does show a picture of a Network Card on left. I using my Windows2000 on my Laptop, so, not looking at Ubuntu on the Desk Top. Also, you can go to the Ubuntu Forms and ask there and maybe someone can help you.

I have not tried to do a wireless card. May Load Ubuntu on another Laptop to see what happen. Everything else was recognized and works.

Help Desk Interview Questions?
Q. I have been given the responsibility to interview the people who will be working as lab monitors in a library computer lab. These students are work-study students. I am not a computer person. I work in the circulation department, so am not sure what to ask these students. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A. Actually, i think they shouldn't have given you that responsibility! How can you interview people about things you don't know anything about?
However, you can ask some of these questions:
-Tell me 4 antivirus programs.
-Tell me 2 antispyware programs.
-Tell me 2 methods to restore harddisks very fast.
-Tell me how to block p2p software.
-Tell me what Ghost is.
-Tell me what a restore card is.
-Tell me the pro's and con's of Windows vs. Mac vs. Ubuntu.
-Tell me 3 good passwords.
-Tell me how to free up space on a full harddisk.
Write the answers down, tell them you'll get back to them later. Then post the answers on answers.yahoo.com! :)
