Q. what is cloud-based helpdesk software?
A. Cloud-based means the business logic of the software runs on servers owned and managed by a hosting company like Microsoft Azure or Amazon EC2.
Helpdesk software is a suite of application that manage the relationship between users of something and the people who support it. The software may play the "Hello I'm Malcolm on the XXX helpdesk, how can I help you" prerecorded announcement while Malcolm himself is shown information based on your incoming call number. It will almost certainly create a work item that tracks to progress of customer queries as they are passed from agent to agent.
Helpdesk software is a special case of CRM software.

Does anyone know of the "track it" software used by IT dept & any "bugs" it may have?
Q. I am being accused of "altering" a document used with the track it system for IT helpdesk information. I didn't do it, but all I have is the work order response and that is what they are saying I altered. Now I have to prove I'm right and IT is wrong.
A. No, my company used TrackIt for many years with no problems. Generally speaking I would think it would be difficult to prove who altered the call. If you were the one who submitted the call in the first place, then certainly that is an "alteration".
The other thing that we found people doing was resetting the date stamp on their machines to make it look like the call occurred at a different time from when it really occurred.

A. Did you let Mbam remove or did you delete. If Mbam deletes or removes then no reason for you to do anything further. To make sure do the following.
First open the Mbam program, go to the update tab and update to the latest database which is at time of post-4713
Next select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
# When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
# Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
# If it asks for a Restart DO SO, Very Important
