How can I print iron on transfers with my HP deskjet 1050?

Q. I have a design task at school and I have to make an iron on transfer t -shirt . I don't really want to buy another printer so I just want to know if I can print a transfer with a HP desk
jet 1050 printer if I can't than what is the cheapest printer ( that works) that can print transfer with transfer paper and if u can PLZ walk me through the process

A. If you cant afford to buy a software, the only option i see is to photoshop the image. Or just look for a freeware that is capable to print images you may require.

What type of scanner should I purchase?
Q. I am looking to purchase a desk top scanner for my home business, but can't seem to decide what to get. I'm looking for something simple and compact that I can scan documents and receipts to a PDF file straight to my PC. I've been told about Fujitsu scansnap scanners, but find that there are more then one model. Again, I'm looking for something simple to scan black & white documents and receipts, and have no intentions on scanning photos or color documents.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

A. If you plan to use more black & white scan. get the HP G-3110. Its inexpensive and can scan directly to pdf and if you need color scans, it can do 9600 dpi which is more than adequate. It is well rated, inexpensive, and reliable.

As for the Fujitsu scanner, one of the great things about this scanner is that it can scan about 50 pages at a time, and the software then creates PDF files of your document in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 but is more expensive especially since you just need single scans.
The downside to this scanner is that IF YOU do decide to scan a colored photo of someone you appreciate or for whatever reason, Fujitsu DOES NOT come close to producing even a decent color scan compared to flatbed scanners.

Just a thought .... ALSO, the HP is a fraction of the price, does the job more than adequate, and allows you to scan books, receipts, letter size documents, quickly and efficiently. Your choice :)
