Anyone know a good free help desk software?

Q. I've looked everywhere for free help desk ticketing software. Anyone use one or have a list of some that I can use?

A. For my helpdesk I use a free hosted helpdesk service called mojohelpdesk
http://www.mojohelpdesk.com/
There are free open source help desk programs that you install on your server or website.
For a list of free help desk go here http://www.opensourcehelpdesklist.com/ (keep in mind these are not hosted)
If you want a helpdesk that is really good and cheap try zendesk http://zendesk.com

I have got a job in service desk recenlty and within 2 months i am thinking to change my job?
Q. After a long struggle i got a job in service desk and within 2 months i am feeling uncomfortable in my new job .The same old taking calls and trouble shooting over the phone for basic computer issues i have started to feel like there is no growth in this field.I have started to think like quit this job and to study something and move into software testing. Is this a good decision or will i regret for this later .

A. i suggest trying to find something good about the job stay for about 6 months. Also with the economy the way it is expect to stay longer . IF you want to leave start looking in two months because staying fro 6 months will look good. Perhaps you can do a great job and the company will see that you are a hard worker and you can apply for another position withing the company/
Give great customer service. Maybe you have great co-workers find the one good thing aboutthe job even if it is just pay day and focus on that.
Or just say this is a " bus stop " job as a call them jobs you stay at while you work on your long term goals. If it is boring perhaps you can bring flash cards so you are able to get your studying done.

What shoud I notice when I buy a help desk software?
Q. It is a permanent cooperation, so I want to choose a good company, anyone can tell me what should I notice? such as price, service.

A. Yes, just like Jean said, it is a good idea to get a free software at first. But, as it is well known, free one is not the best one usually. This software is used to keep contace with customers, in other words, it is very important for a company, right? So, if you can, just choose a good one and it will be worthwhile.

As for your question, price is an important factor, besides, quality and service are also very important. In fact, they are just what our company promised:

No server, no installation, no retaining required
No risk and no time limited for the free trial
Up-to-date always
