How to create Macro in BMC Remedy software?

A. Its easy
open Helpdesk Form (Search help desk cases)
on right top of form clieck on ADVANCED tab .. (you will see Search String windows at bottom)
add srting you want to search for (below string will show current logged in users pending tickets)
example:('Assignee Login Name' = $USER$) AND ('Status*' != "Resolved") AND ('Status*' != "Closed")
go to TOOLS-record macro... Marco is active now
Click on SEARCH .. this will search all tkts with search criteria.
you will see all tickets.. select all and then go to TOOLS-reporting
Select the REPORT Style 9 u can add required columns) and then
RIght Click Report Template and EXPORT to file
Save as .CSV.
then click on Tools -Save Macro
you are done
next time go to Tools-Run macro.
