I can't install directx 9 help please?
Q. I want to play saints row but it says i need direct x9, or direct x 10 and 11. When i choose either one is says that there is no direct x installed. So i search google and it gives me this link to download direct x 9. Then i click download. I run the setup. I agree. It says" Installing components: DirectX Runtime optional components. Then a message pops up, it says. C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.502727\fusion.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support." So i search on google. Microsoft.net framework for window vista. I download the latest update and then this message pops up. "An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine the problem. Then this is where i get stuck. I don't know where the windows folder is and when i press start and search DXError.log and DirectX.log it says no result. Help please i really want to play saints row.

A. Type dxdiag into your start menu search box. Open DxDiag and after it runs Select the tab that says Save All Information. Save it to your desk top.
Did you try downloading Direct X from Microsoft's sight? DirectX9 http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=8109

EDIT-Open the dxdiag report that you saved on your desk top and see if there are any problems pointed out.
